Across the Bridge (ATB) is a ministry of Campus Church. ATB is designed to reach out to those struggling with addiction and other forms of life-changing circumstances. Our mission is to affect both the body of believers within, as well as the surrounding community, with the message of hope and inspiration found in relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to create an atmosphere, in an accepting church, that will allow personal growth through our spiritually based 12-Step groups. We offer not only internal programs, but we also believe in giving back by spreading this message outward into our community and to other local churches.
We believe, through our innovative approach, we can help to bridge the gap between the un-churched and the churched, the faithless and the faithful, addiction and recovery, and from recovery to the discovery of an amazing, life-changing God.
We believe not only in building relationship with the Lord, but also with each other, so that we might walk the path of light, hand-in-hand, across that bridge to a life of sobriety, joy, and success!
All of us face the journey of life in a different manner. Some must face the facts that addiction, in any form, separates us from who we are and where we fit in society. Addiction creates a void in our life and damages our relationship with God.
Once that happens, life continues but without direction. Traditional 12-Step groups may have helped. Your local church may have improved your situation but you still feel disconnected from God and you yearn for a closer, more real relationship with God.
Across the Bridge is designed to be that bridge between the addiction recovery process and your discovery of the true nature of God. In its simplest terms, across the bridge will help you take the steps needed to heal your heart and soul and find true relationship with God. Whether in our support groups or the Hour of Spiritual Power, you’ll find that we speak your language and we’re prepared to help you transition into a new journey of life recovery.
Our prayer is that as we cross the bridge together, we can help you find God’s amazing grace and the redemption and hope found in our healer, Jesus Christ.
